New Participant Payment Option

UNC has established a strategic partnership with Greenphire opens in a new window, a leading global provider of financial lifecycle management solutions for clinical trials. This collaboration aims to streamline and optimize the process of reimbursing participants in clinical trials or research studies.

Greenphire offers an automated platform that simplifies payment processes for clinical trial participants and reduces the workload of study coordinators. With Greenphire, study coordinators can use ClinCards to automate and track payments to participants. The funds are transferred through reloadable debit cards or direct deposit, ensuring a smooth payment experience.

Greenphire implementation is underway and more information will be forthcoming to the campus research community.

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research opens in a new window and Finance Office opens in a new window seek a Research Projects Accountant to oversee disbursement of funds to the University’s participant payment platforms (i.e., Tango and Greenphire) and manage all centrally administered processes with reimbursing research study participants, including training and communications.
